Falls - Brazilian side
Departure to Iguassu Falls, 24 kilometers from downtown Foz do Iguaçu. Arrival to the Visitors Center, at the entrance of the Iguassu National Park, about 10 kilometers from the city center. The Visitors Center has an excellent infrastructure with exhibits of Iguassu Falls photographs, a souvenir shop, toilets, medical emergency center, Park entrance ticket sale, bank and so on.
After passing through the Center, the visits continue, now inside the National Park, along a paved road that will take us to the magnificent Iguassu Falls. There, happens the walking tour along the catwalk measuring one kilometer of easy hike. Along this easy trek, there are several gorgeous panoramic views of the Falls and at the end of the catwalk a fantastic close-up encounter with the Devils’ Throat and main cataracts.
It is a completely different tour when compared to the Argentine side. We recommend that you see the falls from both sides.

to be able to admire and feel them from up close. Whirlpools, waves and currents
provoked by the Falls add adrenaline and lots of emotions to this unforgettable
tour.
This tour takes place inside the Iguaçu National Park (Brazil), about seven kilometers from the Visitors’ Center and is generally combined with the visit to Iguassu Falls. After a 3-kilometer-ride in a wagon pulled by an electrical vehicule and a 500-meter-walk in the forest, inflatable boats take visitors to live the emotion of being so close to the base of the Falls. Experienced pilots maneuver in the midst of the misty Falls. Both sides of the falls operate the tour. For all ages.

Bicycle in Iguassu Falls
A different
proposal to visit Iguassu Falls and neighboring area, getting to know in a more
intimate way its rural areas, hidden waterfalls (with option for bath) and visiting
properties of small agriculturists where home cooked food is served; all produced
without the use of chemicals.
Support vehicles carrying drinks and fruits plus a specialized guide will accompany the visitor along all the way.
Full-day Iguassu Falls by bicycle - Brazilian side
Departure from hotel in vehicles to visit the Brazilian side of Iguassu Falls. Bicycles will be delivered at the entrance to the Iguassu National Park. From the park’s gate to the falls there are 10 kilometers of easy level ride. Arrival and walk of 1 km along the catwalks having the impressive panoramic view of all cascades. Board back the bicycles continuing for another 10 kilometers as far as a small rural property where organic vegetables are grown (Recanto da Paz). Lunch caipira (rural) style. Free time to relax or take a horse ride (optional). Return to hotel by car.

The rapel descent takes place from an iron platform strategically built on the basalt rock wall and with its base on the right hand side bank of the Iguassu River. A rapel instructor receives the participant on the top of the platform, giving the necessary instructions on the descent technique and safety equipment; right after that, the participant will descend alone.

35-minute flight Iguassu Falls and Itaipu Hydroelectrical Dam
After the flight over Iguassu Falls proceed on to the Itaipu Dam. Along the way, we can observe different plantations and crops of the State of Paraná, the Iguassu and Paraná Rivers including the confluence of both rivers where the 3 landmarks are: Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.

Poço Preto – Iguassu
In the Subtropical Humid Forest, a 9-kilometer trail that can be explored on foot or by bicycle or by an electrical jeep.
Once reaching the end of the trail, visit the Observation Tower overlooking the Jacaré (cayman) Lagoon. Right after that, boarding a comfortable outboard motored boat for a tour on the Upper Iguassu River (tranquil waters) to the Taquara (Reed) Islands.
Descent on double inflatable kayaks, for half an hour, passing through the Taquara
Islands.
Possibility to stopover for a swim. Right after that getting on board the motor
boat again to continue the navigation, down the Iguassu River, past the Papagaio
(Parrots) Island as far as the Porto Bananeiras. Disembarking and jeep ride through
the Bananeira Trail. The Upper Iguassu - is the part of the river located upstream
from Iguassu Falls; in this region, the Iguassu River is very wide, with a width
of up to 800 meters and rather shallow (depth of approximately 1 meter, normal river
level) with calm waters and a landscape totally different from the one in its lower
part.
Flora: during this tour one observes the exuberant flora of this type of forest highlighting a very impressive area dominated by a great concentrations of palms (Euterpe edulis); also observed is the jacaratiá tree (Jacaratia spinosa) the wood of which is used to make sweets, and the killer fig (Ficus luschnathiana) so named due to its being a semi-epiphyte and many others, besides the ever present orchids, bromeliads and cacti.
Fauna: besides the micro-life with its spectacular forms, survival and adaptation strategies, there is the possibility, with a little bit of luck, to observe animals like the capuchin monkey (Cebus apella), the yellow-bellied cayman (Caiman latirostris) and birds like the neotropic cormorant (Phalacrocorax olivaceus), the snail kite (Rosthramus sociabilis), the toco toucan (Ramphastos toco) the plush-crested jay (Cyanocorax chrysops) and others. This tour
takes place in the Iguassu National Park, Brazilian side, between the Park’s entrance
and the access to the Macuco Boat Safari, so it is recommended that this tour be
combined with a visit to the Falls on the Brazilian side.
Visitors on wheelchairs: access possible but with limitations
Note: this tour can begin close to the Porto Canoas Restaurant, in the Iguassu Falls Area, with the following circuit: motor boat navigation to Poço Preto (Black Well), visit to the Observation Tower, navigation to the Taquara Islands, kayaking for 1/2 an hour around the Taquara Islands, boarding the motor boat, end of tour at the Bananeira Trail. In this case there is no option for the bicycle tour.
